10 Gems of Reflections of Gratitude
This season, we’re reflecting on the meaningful connections that make MUSE shine brighter—our remarkable designers. Their creativity and vision are the heart of our collection, and we’re deeply grateful for each of them. We asked our friends to share what they’re most thankful for this year. Here’s a collection of their reflections—a true constellation of gratitude and inspiration.
“Omnia Tempus Habent,“ from Latin. “Everything has its own time.” I left behind my shoulders a revolution. I had so many changes during the past years, personally and professionally. A dance of sliding doors that has shown me the fragility of life and opened my eyes. I am grateful to have learned how to transform problems into opportunities. I don’t see walls now, but I am able to see doors. And from here, from the end, from ash, it is time to bloom again, time to fly now," Anna Maccieri Rossi.
"This year, I'm grateful to be able to create and design, which is the job I love, and share it with people who get me. Family, friends, creativity—all the good stuff that keeps me grounded, especially in a year where everything else is so uncertain and scary, it makes you feel even more blessed," Bea Bongiasca.
"This Thanksgiving, I am grateful for all the big little things we take for granted. Waking up in the morning and going about the daily tasks of life without being afraid that everything could be taken away in an instant. Having a choice about the kind of life I want to live and being able to express my creativity. Hugging my loved ones after a long day without worrying about their safety and well-being. Peace is the most precious gift, and I hope the world becomes a more peaceful place again," Christina Alexiou.
“I’m grateful that I’m moving my Brooklyn home studio into a new space in the NYC diamond district this season. Creating a boundary by separating my personal and professional spaces will breathe new life into my design practice. I’m super excited to open it up to the public by appointment only in 2025," Lorraine West.
"I am deeply grateful this year for the arrival of my first grandchild, a wonderful little boy. The 16th generation of our family is here—a beautiful new chapter begins," Laure-Isabelle, Maison Mellerio.
"Although I’m based in the United Kingdom, Thanksgiving has grown to become an international celebration and point of reflection that makes one recall the ups and downs of the year and most importantly those around you who celebrated the wins and supported you with encouragement through challenging times. This year I’m thankful for life and having a strong network of family and friends around me," Satta Matturi, Matturi Fine Jewelry.
“This year marks the 10th anniversary for the loss of my Father, Joseph Jacques Liautaud. Lately I've felt his presence stronger than ever & he's become a Beacon of light for me. I remember riding in his Yellow Cab as a young boy weekends when me moonlit as a Taxi driver, the city streets were so inspiring & I especially loved getting Carvel cones on the way home. By far the greatest day. Eternally grateful," Mckenzie Liautaud.
"I’m grateful for my creativity and I’m grateful for the beauty created by others," Rebecca Zeijdel-Paz, Beck Jewels.
"I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to build and nurture a diverse and vibrant community of artisans across several countries. Supporting their livelihoods and preserving their craft has been a profoundly rewarding journey. Watching us grow together—creatively and artistically—fills me with pride. Especially when their work gets exhibited in the top stores, platforms and exhibitions around the world. We got our first museum acquisition this year. Helping them thrive and guiding their creative journey to reach their fullest potential is one of the great missions of my life," Silvia Furmanovich.
"This year at Vice Versa we are so thankful for partnership. We started this brand together in 2020 and to have had someone to talk through challenges with and celebrate wins with is the most incredible gift. We are so grateful for each other and to be able to spend our lives doing something we really love," Sophie Thoerner, Vice Versa.
