Founded in 1981, Citymeals on Wheels provides a continuous lifeline of more than 2 million nourishing meals each year to New York City’s homebound elderly. These home-delivered meals and regular check-ins enable over 18,000 of your frail aged neighbors to live with dignity in their own familiar homes and communities. 100% of all public donations are used entirely for the preparation and delivery of meals, thanks to the generosity of our Board of Directors, the City of New York, sponsors and other designated gifts.
